…at least for me, I’ve been waiting for Flash to work like this for years (i.e. a designer drops a component on screen, it writes the code in the background, just like VisualStudio or the upcoming Sparkle)…

…and the really cool thing, if you listen to the end they will be releasing the alpha of all this stuff as early as next week. Looks like the revolution is happening faster than I expected!

Nice little app to test the different tween modes in F8. Worth a look to remind yourself less used types (that you might otherwise hand code) such as ‘photo’, ‘iris’, ‘pixel disolve’ and ‘blind’ are already there…

Interesting list from Flashguru of the skills he thinks will be required from Flash developers given the new features of F8. Not sure I agree with it all (much of it you should know already, and displacement and convolution are going to get real boring real fast!), but a good start…
